For all intents and purposes this is a “wrap up” post for my FDOM class at Texas State which was the reason I started this blog but I will be purchasing the domain name and will be continuing to post every month. Now, while using WordPress I found the ability to embed CSS and HTML into the blog was most helpful as well as the preset themes for people like me who have never done a blog post or started a blog. However, the photo gallery tool that I used for the photo slideshow was not very user friendly and I had to look up a YouTube video on how to make a slideshow in a blog post using said tool.
This blog really made me think about how I was going to put my thoughts and feelings out for people to read in an engaging and thought provoking way. It challenged me to connect with my audience and to be able to relate to anyone who may be reading the posts which I can do easily if I were talking to one person but to make it appeal to a mass audience can be quite difficult.
As said before I will continue to post on here and look forward to hearing everyone’s feedback and comments or questions that you may have. My most popular month was March with 56 total views which was surprising because I would have thought that February would have the most views since I just started the blog and it was new to my audience. I also noticed that most of my blog’s viewers came from Facebook which is where I will continue to publicize my blog. Here is a link to a similar blog.
